Spring Quarter Speaker Roundup

It’s not every day that a former Secretary of State/U.S. Senator/first lady gives a lecture on campus, but that doesn’t mean you should stop taking advantage of the numerous speaking engagements and special events offered to UCLA students at low to no cost. Lectures, presentations, and other forum-type events are a great way to intellectually stimulate yourself and an enlightening addendum to your spring entertainment calendar, most likely already packed with Spring Sing, JazzReggae Festival, and (perhaps) Coachella. Aerial Silks with Kylie Carrigan

Stephanie Orpilla / Daily BruinKylie Carrigan is basically Westwood’s friendly neighborhood Spiderwoman. This quarter, she will finish her fifth year at UCLA and graduate with a double major in art and psychology and two minors in anthropology and applied developmental psychology. Kylie works multiple jobs including being an Resident Assistant in Rieber Vista, and OH YEAH, she swings through the air on silks in her free time and gives lessons in Westwood.
