A week of spring break and we’re supposed to come back refreshed and ready for a new quarter? Please. It’s only been a week, and we’re already beyond burned out. Thankfully, there are plenty of things you can do to pretend that spring break truly is forever.
1. Tan on the roof of Boelter
Get that vitamin D between lunch and stats lab. It’s called multi-tasking and, no, it’s not weird.
2. Frolic around the Family Pool
Because nothing says “spring break” like alumni, their young children and the sweet smell of chlorine.
3. Hoard everything coconut-flavored from the student store
Shampoo, yogurt, toilet cleaner … Everything is fair game. Pro tip: Also works with “tropical” and “sea breeze” scents.
4. Line up the shots … of espresso
As a wise man once sang: “Shots! Shots! Shots!” Make sure to amp up the caffeine and “turn up” for class this quarter.
5. Sip a tropical drink under the
sunlight fluorescent lights

6. Take a wildly undeserved nap at a popular landmark
It’s syllabus week and you just got back from break, so naturally you’re exhausted. Don’t forget to make a pit stop at Powell to release all that stress and enjoy the local architecture.
